50ty/50ty is a collection of limited edition screen prints created in collaboration with artists, illustrators and designers. The brainchild of Black River Studio, the initiative is named 50ty/50ty after the collaborative process between artist and printmaker in the creation of a fine art print as well the number to which each print edition is limited.

Norman O’Flynn joined the programme and created this artwork in February 2016. Known for his use of the language of pop art and his ability to push the genre forward by addressing new topics while knowing exactly where it comes from, this artwork is as entertaining as always.

“Pop is love, for it accepts everything,” says Robert Indiana. “Pop is dropping the bomb. It’s the American dream, optimistic, generous and naïve.”

“The good, the bad and the ‘Boom’!” says O’Flynn.
