ALPHA LONGBOARDS AT WORLDART 6-27 JULY

Alpha Longboards was started in Woodstock, Cape Town, in 2001 by founder and shaper Kent Lingeveldt. The company has since crafted long boards for skaters all over the world.

Lingeveldt regularly engages with local artists and designers and for this project invited a group of eight artists, all of whose work fits into the urban contemporary genre, to create works on skate boards.

These boards will be exhibited at the Worldart gallery in Cape Town from 6 – 27 July 2017.

Artists on show will be ICE7 – one of the pioneers of the street art scene in Cape Town, award winning surface design specialist and artist Atang Tshikare, Worldart gallery artists Kilmany-Jo Liversage and Dion Cupido, Conform, ELLO XRAY EYES and Kaylin Car.
