AUTUMN GROUP SHOW AT WORLDART 5-26 APRIL

WORLDART is pleased to present new works by Johannesburg based artist Thokozani Mthiyane for our Autumn Group Show. This is the first time we’ll be exhibiting works by Thokozani Mthiyane and we are thrilled to have three new paintings. Mthiyane’s creative process is a combination of painting and poetry; the works are an exploration of personal expression and the channelling of innate creative forces which comment on the difficulties we face as South Africans.

In addition to the works by Mthiyane, we will introduce new works by young up and coming photographer Phumelele Kunene. Kunene’s series Inkosazana Yezulu (Goddess of the sky) is an exploration and celebration of the Nguni-speaking people of Southern Africa, their traditions and symbolism.

The exhibition opens on 5 April and will run until 26 April 2018.
