BEGINNING OF A NEW ERA FOR RICHARD SCOTT

If you bought a painting by Richard Scott between 2002 and 2010, it would mean that you are the owner of an artwork that has significantly increased in value and that is about to become even more valuable.

Richard Scott has always maintained that he is “an entrepreneurial artist and not a starving artist”. He started off with a dream that became a concept and that now is about to become an internationally recognised brand.
Pointing to this is the response to his merchandising range that was launched at the 2012 HKTDC House Ware Fair in Hong Kong in April this year, where buyers from Japan, Brazil, Mexico and others showed strong interest in the My tree range.
He is also scheduled to have an exhibition in Frankfurt in August this year, which will be his first solo show in Germany.

Though we don’t see it as our primary function to sell investment pieces, we certainly appreciate it when the art we work with show an increase in value. The graph on the right shows the growth in retail value of his work since 2002 when he started. The highest price in 2012 represents the price increase that takes effect on 15 June 2012.

Please send us an email if you would like to receive a catalogue of artworks that will be available at the current prices till 15 June.
